The TAURUS 800 is a leading retractable road barrier designed to protect access to sensitive sites against terrorist acts involving ram-vehicles. This device is specifically engineered to dead-stop a 7,500 kg vehicle travelling at a speed of 60 km/h. This exceptional stopping capacity allows the equipment to meet the rigorous requirements of international IWA 14-1 standards as well as ASTM M40 and K8 standards.
